Built for Permanence
The house exists outside seasonal demand and trend cycles. Every release is designed to endure physically, aesthetically, and culturally, reflecting a philosophy rooted in restraint rather than volume.
MARCO GERARD
Marco Gerard was not conceived in pursuit of fashion, nor founded to follow the rhythms of an industry. It was formed from a moment in history when time itself felt exposed—fragile, finite, and suddenly precious.
In September of 2001, as the world watched the events at the World Trade Center unfold in real time, life quietly divided into before and after. In that moment, I was a young mother holding my eight-month-old son, Gerard, while thinking of my nephew Marco, just a year older. Two children at the very beginning of life, set against an event that reminded the world how abruptly time can be taken away.
The name Marco Gerard is the joining of those two names. It is also the joining of memory and responsibility.
At the time, my own path was pointed toward New York. I was applying to the Fashion Institute of Technology, drawn by a lifelong love of fashion, form, and creative discipline. Design was not an interest—it was instinct. But witnessing the cataclysm that struck the city altered my vision. The idea of building my future there dissolved. What did not dissolve was the desire to create something meaningful—something that could endure rather than disappear.
Marco Gerard exists because that desire remained.
This House is founded on a belief that time should be treated with reverence. That objects created to measure it should be made slowly, deliberately, and without excess. That permanence is not loud. That restraint is a form of respect.
In an era defined by speed, noise, and disposability, Marco Gerard chooses a different posture. We do not chase attention. We do not follow seasonal trends. We do not measure success by volume. We believe that what is made well—and made honestly—does not need explanation.
Every Marco Gerard timepiece is created as an object meant to accompany a life. It is not designed to impress across a room, but to reward the person who lives with it day after day. Each watch reflects discipline in proportion, clarity in design, and integrity in construction. Nothing is added without purpose. Nothing is removed without consideration.
The Founders Edition represents the first physical expression of this philosophy. It is not a marketing exercise or a beginning marked by excess. It is a quiet marker of belief—belief in craft, patience, and the long view. Each Founders Edition timepiece is individually numbered, permanently recorded, and never repeated. It exists not as a product of the moment, but as part of the permanent historical record of the House.
Marco Gerard is not about reclaiming the past, nor resisting the present. It is about continuity—about creating objects that remain relevant because they are rooted in values rather than trends.
This House stands for:
- Permanence over pace
- Craft over spectacle
- Integrity over growth
- Legacy over visibility
Marco Gerard is not built for everyone. It is built for those who understand that the most meaningful objects are often the quietest ones—the ones that stay when everything else moves on.
The story of this House began in a moment of global loss, but it continues as an affirmation of responsibility: to create with intention, to honor time rather than consume it, and to leave behind objects worthy of being kept.
This is not a brand in a hurry.
It is a House built to last.

A House Built for Permanence
Conceived in 2001, Marco Gérard was founded on principles of authenticity, intentional scarcity, and heritage craftsmanship. From its inception, the house rejected scale-driven luxury in favor of a registry-based model designed to protect legacy and long-term value.
House Creations by Allocation
Every Marco Gérard creation is original, intentional, and released in strictly limited quantities. The house follows a closed lifecycle, ensuring each object is documented, numbered, and preserved within the Marco Gérard Registry.
Built for permanence, not seasonal demand, these creations exist outside mass production and traditional luxury cycles.
